Merged Video Workflows

Requires compatible VidFlow AI Free and Pro plugins with an active Pro license.

Put completed clips in order, save the sequence and explicitly create the combined video.

Content reviewed: October 20, 2026.

Build your sequence

  1. Open your project’s Merged Videos section and create or open a merge draft.
  2. Add compatible completed project videos from the available clips. A completed merged video can also be reused as a source.
  3. Drag the sequence controls into the order you want. Review the titles, thumbnails and Audio, No audio or Audio unknown badges.
  4. Save the sequence. Unsaved changes must be saved before the merge starts.
  5. Choose the merge action and watch its progress through inspection, processing and upload.

Clips can have different lengths. Equal clip duration is not a merge requirement.

Check compatibility first

  • Keep clips in the same orientation. Mixing portrait with wide clips is blocked.
  • Known mixed audio and silent clips are blocked. Audio unknown means VidFlow must inspect the clip before merging; it does not mean the clip is silent.
  • Differences in format, resolution or frame rate can require browser conversion. Availability depends on your browser’s media support and the source files.

Read the sequence’s compatibility message before merging.

Keep the browser available

The merge runs in your browser and then uploads the output to WordPress. Keep that tab open and the browser running until it finishes. This differs from server-side provider generation, which can keep polling after you leave the page.

Cancel stops the browser merge. When an error occurs, read its stage and check the sequence or source before trying again. A merge retry is separate from regenerating a source clip with a provider.

Review the result

A completed merged card provides preview, download, shortcode and publishing actions. Check the whole output, including joins, audio and text, before embedding or publishing it. We recommend publishing completed videos to YouTube before embedding and selecting its published player to reduce video bandwidth and playback load on your WordPress hosting.

To combine Product Video scene clips, add the reviewed clips to a sequence in Merged Videos.
