Install the free VidFlow AI plugin, confirm requirements, and understand what you need before the first generation request.
Content reviewed: October 27, 2026.
We recommend publishing completed videos to YouTube before embedding and selecting its published player to reduce video bandwidth and playback load on your WordPress hosting.
Requirements
- WordPress 7.0 or later.
- PHP 8.2.35+, 8.3.36+, 8.4.27+ or 8.5.12+ within the same branch. Earlier patch levels are blocked.
- Administrator access to install and activate plugins.
- A Hailuo AI / MiniMax or Google provider account with the required API access before generating videos.
Install the plugin
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins -> Add New.
- Install VidFlow AI from the WordPress plugin directory, or download the ZIP from WordPress.org and upload it.
- Activate VidFlow AI.
- Open the new VidFlow AI menu in the left admin navigation.

After activation
- Create Video opens the main generation workflow.
- Video Library lists generated jobs, previews, shortcodes, downloads, retry actions, and publishing actions.
- Settings stores encrypted provider credentials, publishing defaults, media storage settings, notification settings, and privacy cleanup options.
Important expectation
VidFlow AI does not include provider credits. The bundled provider integrations are included in the free plugin, but generation requests use your own provider account and any provider billing or limits apply there.
Before the first request
Review the provider, model, prompt and video settings before selecting Generate video. Your provider bills generation separately.
