Understand how VidFlow AI separates plugin access from provider billing with a bring-your-own-key generation model.

We recommend publishing completed videos to YouTube before embedding and selecting its published player to reduce video bandwidth and playback load on your WordPress hosting.
What BYOK means
BYOK means “bring your own key.” VidFlow AI stores the provider credentials you enter on your WordPress site and uses them when your site talks directly to the configured provider.
What VidFlow AI does
- Provides the WordPress admin UI for prompts, provider settings, library management, embeds, storage options, downloads, publishing, and background polling.
- Sends generation requests from your WordPress site to the selected provider.
- Stores job metadata and provider-returned media URLs in WordPress.
What providers control
- Provider account creation.
- Provider credits, paid plans, or pay-as-you-go billing.
- Rate limits, model availability, generation speed, and provider-side content rules.
- Hosted media URLs returned by the provider.
How Pro fits in
Pro does not unlock generation providers. Bundled Hailuo AI / MiniMax and Google access stays in the free plugin. Pro adds Product Videos for WooCommerce, Projects, batch generation, merged video workflows, camera motion, templates, favorites, and advanced library filters.
Provider charges in Pro
Product Video Auto prepares prompts with Gemini. Opening-image preparation and video generation are separate actions with separate costs. Custom prompt avoids the text-generation request; image generation can still cost money when you choose it. Reusing an existing video or assigning a Media Library video does not submit generation.
