Fix download failures by checking the available video source and server/proxy limits.
Content reviewed: October 18, 2026.
Start here
- Try preview first.
- Check whether the video has a provider URL, local signed URL, or published URL.
- Confirm the video is complete.
Common causes
- Provider URL expired.
- Browser CORS blocks direct download.
- VidFlow proxy download is blocked or too large for server limits.
- Local signed URL was revoked or expired.
- Local storage is enabled but import failed.
Fix path
- If a provider URL expired, use a saved local copy if one exists or inspect supported saved-media retrieval. A new generation is a separate paid choice.
- If local URL expired, open the library again and try a fresh action.
- If proxy downloads fail, check server memory, timeout, and security rules.
- Enable Media Library storage for future jobs if you need local retention.
Recover existing files first
A published YouTube link is not an original-file download source. Google and Pro merged output use protected local files. Check whether that file exists and refresh the signed download action. An inactive Pro license retains the limited completed-merge download path; read the license guide.
For Product Video images, use Save and select existing result when available before requesting a replacement. A new image request can incur another charge.
